NAR Prophets and the Tragic Death of Charlie Kirk
With the recent assassination of Charlie Kirk, there have been countless reactions and responses to this tragedy, which is certainly understandable. One facet of those responses has come from individuals in the prophetic movement, those who consider themselves prophets of God. As someone who, for lack of better words, is an apostate of the New Apostolic Reformation, I want to talk about this and to share some things that I have pondered in the wake of this. It should be noted that individuals within this movement have repeatedly alleged to know of such events ahead of time, referring to their vague and generalized predictions that could conveniently fit the circumstances.
One example that took place a year ago was the assassination attempt on President Donald Trump. During this time, numerous leaders within this movement claimed to have prophesied of this event, stating that the Holy Spirit told them that there would be a “shot heard around the world”. Unfortunately, this same rhetoric is being said about Charlie Kirk, and it is being said by the same prophets. One of these individuals is now recycling that very same prophecy, stating that it is now pertaining to the tragic death of Charlie Kirk. Sadly, he is using a Bible passage pertaining to Jesus Christ and ascribing it to Kirk, stating that the shepherd would be struck, the sheep would scatter, and that the sheep would pick up the mantle of that shepherd, creating a roar.
There are leaders claiming to know that a tragic event would take place this month, but they never say what that tragic event would be. Another self-professing prophet has claimed to have seen the shooting of a well-known minister ahead of time, but he never divulged the name of that minister. What he did say was that it would be in a service, and it would be carried out in order to hinder revival. Additionally, there are Bible verses pertaining to Jesus Christ being ascribed to Charlie Kirk, such as John 12:23, and there is a prophetic word being stated as “Thus saith the Lord” that Charlie Kirk will be immortalized and will be an angel in the minds of men, coming to many in their dreams and visions.
It is sad when such things take place among professing Christians, and it is sad that many flock to such things because it demonstrates a discontentment in the sufficiency of God’s Word and a reliance on these individuals who are deceived at best and deceiving others for shameful gain while blaspheming God’s name at worst. Scripture tells us that in 2 Peter 2:2-3, “And many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of truth will be blasphemed. And in their greed they will exploit you with false words. Their condemnation from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.” As Christians, we cannot sacrifice Biblical literacy for false prophecy, and we must be willing to test all things according to Scripture.
With regards to the death of Charlie Kirk, I am personally saddened and grieved on multiple levels. I am saddened for the loss to his family and friends. The loss for them is great, and I pray that God would comfort them as only He can and that the Lord would be glorified out of this tragedy. I do pray that many would hear the gospel and come to true saving faith in Christ. In the process of the alleged prophetic claims and even Bibliomancy taking place surrounding Kirk’s death, there is a sobering reminder to guard our hearts, abide in God’s Word, and test all things according to Scripture. Our hope is not in a man or a woman or in revival, and it is certainly not in the false prophets recycling words from another event. Our hope is in Christ and Him crucified.
I am saddened for the shooter’s family who is also suffering loss due to the sin of their son. I am saddened for the shooter who is spiritually lost and in need of the gospel of Jesus Christ, and along with this, I am saddened that so many Christians would hate this young man and others potentially involved without realizing that hatred towards another is murder (1 John 3:15). One life is no greater than another, and we are not to seek our own vengeance.
Personally, I pray that this young man hears the gospel of Jesus Christ and that he would repent and believe in Jesus Christ to forgive Him and to save Him from the penalty of his sins. Wouldn’t it be wonderful for this young man to be born-again when facing the death penalty? This does not mean that there are not consequences to sin. It simply means that rather than craving justice, though we love God and His justice, we would desire to see God’s mercy in saving his eternal soul.
There are many other things that could be said about such a sad time in our nation. May we all be reminded of the frailty of life and the centrality of the gospel of Jesus Christ, and may we weep with those who weep while taking comfort in knowing that as a Christian, death has no sting. Jesus Christ has conquered sin, death, and the grave, and those of us who are in Christ do not mourn as those without hope.

Agreed.
🚨🚨🚨Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.
John 12:24🚨🚨🚨
A warning regarding how this scripture is being used to describe Charlie Kirk. This scripture is talking about Jesus Christ.
Though I am extremely grieved in my spirit about what happened I am realizing it happened right around the time the Lord began to speak a warning about false fire rising up.
Let’s be careful in these times to stay close to the Lord in Word and Spirit so we’re not led astray.
I pray for Charlie’s family and friends and this great loss and injustice. I pray that everyone of us would use this opportunity to examine our own hearts and houses and the pointing of our own wicked fingers. That would be a great way to honor Charlie, each other and most of all, Christ. It is the only answer that will bring healing to our land!
🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨
“Is this not the fast that I have chosen:
To loose the bonds of wickedness,
To undo the heavy burdens,
To let the oppressed go free,
And that you break every yoke?
Is it not to share your bread with the hungry,
And that you bring to your house the poor who are cast out;
When you see the naked, that you cover him,
And not hide yourself from your own flesh?
Then your light shall break forth like the morning,
Your healing shall spring forth speedily,
And your righteousness shall go before you;
The glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.
Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer;
You shall cry, and He will say, ‘Here I am.’
“If you take away the yoke from your midst,
The pointing of the finger, and speaking wickedness,
If you extend your soul to the hungry
And satisfy the afflicted soul,
Then your light shall dawn in the darkness,
And your darkness shall be as the noonday.
The Lord will guide you continually,
And satisfy your soul in drought,
And strengthen your bones;
You shall be like a watered garden,
And like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.
Those from among you
Shall build the old waste places;
You shall raise up the foundations of many generations;
And you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach,
The Restorer of Streets to Dwell In.
Isaiah 58:6-12
Murder
“You’re familiar with the command to the ancients, ‘Do not murder.’ I’m telling you that anyone who is so much as angry with a brother or sister is guilty of murder. Carelessly call a brother ‘idiot!’ and you just might find yourself hauled into court. Thoughtlessly yell ‘stupid!’ at a sister and you are on the brink of hellfire. The simple moral fact is that words kill.
“This is how I want you to conduct yourself in these matters. If you enter your place of worship and, about to make an offering, you suddenly remember a grudge a friend has against you, abandon your offering, leave immediately, go to this friend and make things right. Then and only then, come back and work things out with God.
Matthew 5:21-24
If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
2 Chronicles 7:14
That was a recent post I previously submitted. My husband and I had a brief awakening regarding NAR. We joined a mentorship program for 2 years that we thought was an intercessory group. The Lord about a year and a half into seeing what we were seeing and feeling what we were feeling invited us to get up early in his word so that he could teach us. The best thing we ever did. Six months later we were asked to run internationally with them and instead brought warnings based on the word and dreams and visions that he gave us that lined up perfectly with the word. We were mocked and never spoken to again. We have continued to press in to him and continue to do so. It is nice to know there are other people out there that see this as well. Fortunately, before all this the Lord was prophetically speaking to us about the season and we have not thrown that out with the bathwater. We have just been surrendering to him and asking for proper balance between spirit and truth.
You said:
“I pray that this young man hears the gospel of Jesus Christ and *that he would repent and believe in Jesus Christ to forgive Him and to save Him from the penalty of his sins.”*
This is incorrect.
On your youtube channel, you stated in a video you made about the Charlie Kirk subject, that you believe the finished work of Jesus Christ.
According to scripture, people are not called to believe the gospel to get our sins forgiven, we believe the gospel to be SAVED. To reconcile ourselves back to God for our justification. Not our forgiveness.
Forgiveness happened at the cross.
I’m confused of WHICH gospel you are trusting in. Its possible that you think forgiveness and justification/salvation are the same, but they are not.
Salvation isnt about getting our sins forgiven, its beliving they already are.
We can find the gospel of our salvation here:
2 Corinthians 5:18-21
Ephesians 1:7
1 Corinthians 15:1-4 kjv
On the cross, God the Father, was in Christ the Son, reconciling himself to the world through the perfect substituionary sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
“For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.” – Romans 5:10 KJV
We are saved when we reconcile ourselves back to God. How?
Agreeing with God on the basis of FAITH that Jesus already did everything required to save us at the cross, and we play no part in that process.
It WAS finished nearly 2 centuries ago, before we were even born.
The gospel isnt instructions of what we need to BELIEVE to activate forgiveness. The gospel is a DECLARATION of what has already been accomplished on our behalf.
What did he do? He died for all our sins past, present, and future. Its true, wether we believe it or not.
Forgiveness was needed, forgiveness was made, God stopped imputing.
We are saved/sealed by the Holy Spirit of promise the moment we simply believe it.
“In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,” – Ephesians 1:13 KJV
“But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.” – Romans 4:24-25 KJV
I hope this helps. Grace and peace from God the Father, and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who loved us and gave himself for us: 2 Corinthians 5:21
